Lamont Wines in Swan Valley (WA) has just installed a new GAI 4290 Screw Capping Machine. This was in addition to their existing GAI 1511 Monoblock and OMB labeller.

This now allows LAMONT to bottle using both natural cork as well as STELVIN.

THE GAI 4290 Screw Capper, is fitted with under-cap gas injection and is fitted with an all Stainless Steel Technovin head. The machine's speed as well as the rotational speed of the screw capping head are adjustable from the control panel by means of INVERTERS. The cap hopper feeds screw caps automatically down the chute and a photocell fully controls the function of the hopper as well as the machine.

Barossa Bottling Services

Barossa Bottling Services in Nuriootpa has just commissioned their new state-of-the-art bottling line. Capable of running at 3.000 bph, this line features the latest technology available.

GAI 3052 TOP Monobloc - All bottle receive internal rinsing with sterile water and gas, followed by a complete bottle evacuation and gas flushing. The filling process is under low gravity and the filler bowl is high grade with mirror finish polish on the inside. Gas injection prior to corking (with high vacuum) and STELVIN application are standard.

GAITEC 5108 Washer/ Dryer - All bottles are washed and dried prior to capsuling and labelling, presenting the final package in the cleanest possible way.

GAI 4606 DTL Capsuler - Automatic capsule dispensing with shringling head for PVC and multi-head spinner for Tin and Polylaminate capsules.

STS S3 T6/R Rotary labelling machine - capable of applying, self-adhesive body, back as well as wrap-around neck labels with pin-point accuracy.

The complete line, including conveyors, pump, steam generator and water recycling system were supplied and installed by Viniquip.
